We've just had a really nice week with Sri's parents. tasty curries, teas, watching tamil soaps. The good life, basically :) (alternated with a million vaccinations, visa admin and the biggest Decathlon shopping trip i have EVER done in my whole life - and catching up with friends one last time)
off to Provence tomorrow so better be all sorted. Looking forward to catching up with family, friends, cats, the pool, the sun, the sound of the cicadas, starry skies, long summer nights, the smell of geraniums and pine trees etc... YAY
We're officially off to Japan on the 26th of August so we will keep you updated on the latest adventures when we're there.
Oh by the way, due to crappy visa restrictions for people of Sri Lankan descent (seriously!), we're not going to India anymore, which is a shame, as we were both really looking forward to the whole adventure after all this time spent fantasizing over it.
So we're now re-routing ourselves to Cambodia/Vietnam/Laos/Thailand instead. (not bad, eh!)
Anyway, we'll let you know how it all goes, in time!
